By accessing or using DeckGaps ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

DeckGaps is a web application that helps Magic: The Gathering players analyze their card collections and deck lists. The Service allows you to compare what cards you own against what you need for your decks, track card locations, and export reports.

2. User Accounts

Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Free and Premium Tiers

DeckGaps offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Free features are available without payment. Premium features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including collection data, deck lists, and location information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Scryfall (for card data) and TCGplayer (for pricing and purchase links). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. DeckGaps participates in affiliate programs and may earn commissions from purchases made through links on the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

DeckGaps is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. Magic: The Gathering, its card names, and related imagery are property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. The DeckGaps name, logo, and original code are owned by DeckGaps and its creators.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Card prices and availability shown are estimates and may not reflect current market conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeckGaps and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
